Our magazin at the B3 between Frankfurt/Main and Darmstadt exists since 1964. In 1972 Mr. Lohmann senior, whom many of our customers will remember, took over the firm.
1977 he retiered and his son Mr. Heinz Lohmann became the new owner. Rather quickly the name of the firme
was abriviated by our customers, from "Caravanvertrieb Heinz Lohmann" to
Wohnwagen Lohmann (Vertrieb: german for distributor, Wohnwagen: german for camping trailer)
Today with his daughter Meike Lohmann the third generation of the Lohmann family is joining in the firm.
Following this tradition we try to help you with any problems and question you may have
concerning your camping trailer or motorhome.
For all those, who are interested in the new developpment in the field of camping trailers, we are displaying a big choice of Fendt and Hobby trailers. This and the many pre-owned trailers and motohomes we can offer assure that everybody can find his favourite vehicle.
In our Parts and accessories store Mrs Birgit Bluhm will help you to find whatever is missing in you trailer or motorhome.
If something you need is not in store, we offer our ordering service where anything ordered on Monday will be availible four days later.
If you have never tried camping (or if you have a trailer and would like to test a motorhome) then we are offering a Rental service which gives you the possibility to try this kind of holiday without any risk.
We have a special offer for our foreign customers: Take the airplane to Frankfurt, where we will come for you (it is
just 30 min. from our firm by car). Rent one of our motorhomes and start discovering Germany.
Since we are right in the middle of Germany this is an ideal starting point for you holidays.
Our customers specially like the "Days of the Open Door", when each year in spring and in autumn
we invite all those who love camping. We offer hot "Äppelwoi" (a wine made of apples) which is a speciality of our
region.
